The recent government COVID-19 guidance for England that those people who can effectively work from home should do so has underlined the need for employers to ensure that, in addition to handling issues around people attending the workplace, they are making proper provision for staff who are homeworking.

Given that this guidance will be in place for a number of months, this means that many workers are likely to have been working largely from home for a year when restrictions are eased.

At the same time, the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating changes to workplace culture which would not have been foreseen at the beginning of 2020, and is causing businesses to reassess their culture of presenteeism and regular working hours.

The COVID-19 pandemic, the uncertainties around it and the "new" way of working have created exceptionally challenging times for HR professionals, who are having to contend with significantly higher levels of mental health issues amongst their workforce while also managing a unique set of workplace behaviour and culture issues.

This webinar will explore the practical and proactive steps employers can take to manage issues that are arising in this new way of working, as well as the longer term workplace culture issues that are emerging from COVID-19.
