Videoconferencing platforms such as Zoom and Skype allow attorneys to conduct depositions, mediations, joint inspections, hearings and court conferences while observing mandated social distancing requirements. Even as restrictions are eased around the country, the use of videoconferencing platforms will likely become commonplace and accepted by the courts and attorneys because of the efficiencies they can offer to all parties.

Wilson Elser partner Thomas DeMicco, assisted by Kathryn Hudman, will lead a 60-minute webinar featuring an overview of the platforms available for virtual depositions, mediations, inspections, court appearances and client meetings, and practical advice for using this computer software effectively to protect the interests of clients.

CLE credit is pending for California, Connecticut, Illinois, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York.
