HHG Legal Group is excited to announce the growth of our Albany team across Family Law, Commercial Litigation and Criminal Law, with two new lawyers to serve the Great Southern community.

Since the firm's humble beginnings in 1919 as a one-man office in Albany (then known as Hudson, Henning and Goodman, HHG Legal Group) has continued to expand, with over 50 staff and dedicated offices in the Perth CBD (HHG-HQ), Mandurah and most recently, Joondalup in 2020. The addition of Linlee McCormack (Senior Lawyer) and Cally Hannah (Lawyer) to our Albany team ensures they will be able to continue providing WA families, individuals, businesses, and governments access to the best legal expertise, in a location that is geographically convenient for them.

About Linlee McCormack:

Linlee is a highly respected and reputable commercial litigation and criminal lawyer and brings over 20 years of experience to the Albany team. With legal careers in both the public and private sectors, she is well equipped to provide the Great Southern region with complex legal advice, criminal law defence and commercial litigation services. Linlee has also worked as a legal officer for the Department of Communities as well as a Prosecutor for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, giving her insight beyond that of most criminal lawyers.

She is highly regarded within her field and has provided expert advice, reports and recommendations for proposed legislation and regulations. This extensive and diverse range of experience will be a great asset to our Albany team and will strengthen HHG Legal Group's standing as the leading law firm in the Great Southern region

About Cally Hannah:

Cally is one Albany's specialised Family Lawyers and brings a wealth of experience in her prior roles in the law and accounting sectors. In addition to family law, Cally has a keen interest and expertise in Agribusiness and has also assisted clients in several other legal practice areas including wills and estates, commercial and residential leasing, and employment law.

After growing up in the WA Wheatbelt towns of Koorda and Wongan Hills, the transition to Albany is a return to Cally's country upbringing. With a wealth of experience in the accounting sector before transitioning into the legal profession, Cally has the unique ability to understand highly complex accounting structures and can be trusted to assist clients with a wide range of family law matters.

HHG's Executive Chairman, Simon Creek said, "these recent appointments represent a big investment by HHG in our historical home city. They also reflect a strength HHG Legal Group has that other law firms our size do not: our ability to provide clients with direct access to a full-service firm delivering quality legal expertise across multiple geographical locations. Among many other things, it is this type of unique difference that will see us through the current recession. Albany has so much potential – we all know it, as that is where it all kicked off for Mr Hudson over 100 years ago."

"After 100 continuous years of service in the Great Southern region of WA, we are excited and grateful to welcome both Cally and Linlee to the team and look forward to continuing our legacy of being a trusted service provider and committed community supporter in the region."
