The impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), commonly known as the "coronavirus", is now being felt across the globe.

Join us on Wednesday 11 March 2020, when we will highlight the key legal and commercial risks for global businesses to consider, together with the practical steps they should be taking to mitigate the impact of the virus on their business, staff, supply chains, etc.

Our global experts will focus on:

  • Lessons From China – Dan Roules from our Shanghai office will put the coronavirus in context, share the latest position in the People's Republic of China and how companies are responding there to the outbreak.
  • Commercial and Supply Chain Risks – Simon Garbett will discuss the range of supply chain risk-management measures that companies should consider.
  • Labour and Employment – Matthew Lewis will highlight the key labour and employment issues to consider, both in the UK and more widely.
  • Health and Safety – Rob Biddlecombe will flag the practical steps that businesses should be taking to manage their health and safety obligations.
  • View From the US – Sarah Rathke will touch on how the virus is affecting the US.

The webinar will be a 55-minute presentation in English, followed by a five-minute online question and answer session.

This webinar is intended to help you manage your organisation's global response to the coronavirus outbreak and will be of interest to in-house counsel, HR professionals and all those involved in risk and compliance.
