On-Demand Payment Bonds are the focus of current credit discussion in the energy industry, and certainty of payment and performance assurance is fundamental to building commercial relationships. While On-Demand Payment Bonds are emerging as an option to traditional forms of credit assurance, and offer a solution with teeth but not without complexity, the enforceability of On-Demand Payment Bonds is under scrutiny and remains uncertain.

With experience in the areas of energy law, payment securitization and credit, and bonds and surety, Field Law's Doreen Saunderson, Cameron Hughes and Michael Doerksen will discuss the enforceability of On-Demand Payment Bonds and other issues for consideration.

Attendees are welcome to join us for a glass of wine and appetizers following the presentation.
