Hazelbrook Legal is honoured to be sponsoring the 30th Anniversary of the National Foundation for Australian Women (NFAW).

The event, with keynote speakers Marie Coleman and Ashleigh Streeter-Jones, will be held at the National Library of Australia on the 23rd of July. The evening will be a celebration of the great strides that NFAW have made over their 30 years including incubating and establishing Women in Boards, as well as paid maternity leave following NFAW getting it back on the national agenda.

The NFAW is an organisation that sets the agenda for women's issues throughout Australia and gives weight to the collective voice of Australian women. Their mission is to advance the status of Australian women through:

  • Social and economic policy analysis;
  • Honouring and recognising the achievements of Australian women; and
  • Collaborating with other organisations that share their mission.

Hazelbrook's Petrina Schiavi sits on the board of directors of the NFAW and is a member of the Australian Women's Archives Project Committee.
