These days, complaints of bullying appear to be a regular occurrence in employment. In our experience, while some complaints do raise genuine and legitimate concerns about behaviour at work, unfortunately, a significant number of complaints arise from a misunderstanding of behaviours or are a tactic to avoid disciplinary and other legitimate processes. In either case, without the confidence to respond, bullying complaints can be disruptive and fracturing to business.

In this seminar, we explore:

  • the key concepts defining workplace bullying;
  • how the Fair Work Commission has dealt with claims of bullying since its anti-bullying jurisdiction commenced in January 2014; and
  • practical and alternative ways to respond to bullying complaints rather than adopting traditional processes that can be costly, distracting and disruptive.

Join us in this seminar as we discuss the best ways for business and HR to manage and survive bullying complaints.
