Taft attorney Jeremy Morris has been selected to serve on the Commission on Indiana's Legal Future. The newly created commission will focus on growing the number of attorneys in the state. The 23-member commission includes individuals from each branch of government, judges, lawyers from various types of practices, leaders from Indiana's legal education institutions, and experts from the Office of Judicial Administration.

Morris has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in white collar investigations, government prosecutions, and qui-tam (whistleblower) lawsuits under the False Claims Act and Stark Law. Prior to joining Taft, Morris was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Indiana. In that role, he spearheaded prosecutions related to federal drug trafficking and firearms offenses, conspiracy charges, and violations of the Hobbs Act. His expertise also extends to public corruption investigations, tackling issues such as money laundering, bribery, and wire fraud. Additionally, Morris is a actively involved in the community, serving as a member of the board of trustees for Indiana University and on the board of directors for Brightlane Learning.
