Sergiy Gryshko, partner and head of the Dispute Resolution practice of Redcliffe Partners, and Yaroslav Petrenko and Yuriy Rybak, associates in the Dispute Resolution practice, contributed the chapter on Ukraine to the Delos Guide to Arbitration Places (the GAP). Delos is a new, Paris-based arbitration institution, launched in 2014 to respond to the needs of businesses globally for time and cost-efficiency in the resolution of disputes through arbitration.

The GAP is designed to assist in-house counsel, corporate lawyers and arbitration practitioners with assessing quickly and efficiently comparative advantages of a large range of jurisdictions, including those of selecting safe arbitral seats and conducting arbitral proceedings in those jurisdictions.

The chapter on Ukraine provides a general overview of Ukraine as a place for arbitration for in-house and corporate counsel. In addition, it provides detailed analysis of Ukrainian arbitration legislation and case law, including the legal framework for the validity of an arbitration agreement, restrictions on the ability to arbitrate, procedural safeguards, court intervention and other important information on arbitration in Ukraine.
