Wakefield Quin advised client Savannah Petroleum PLC on Bermuda
law financing and security matters relating to a credit facility to
Seven Energy, a leading integrated gas company in south east
Nigeria, with upstream oil and gas interests in the region.
Savannah Petroleum is a UK oil and gas company focused around
the exploration, appraisal and development of the R1/R2 and R3/R4
PSC areas of the Agadem Rift Basin in South East Niger.
The Wakefield Quin team, acting as Bermuda legal counsel, was
led by Erik Gotfredsen with the assistance of John Blackwood.
Latham & Watkins, acted as legal counsel to Savannah Petroleum
PLC.
