WhistleB's Jan Tadeusz Stappers will be one of the key speakers at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Conference, Europe in April. Due to the current global covid-19 pandemic, the ACFE conference, Europe has shifted from an in-person meeting planned to be held in Copenhagen to an online format. The conference is still set to attract participants from all over Europe.

Jan is WhistleB's Legal Counsel and Head of Partnership development and his ACFE conference session is titled "Whistleblower Protection and Whistleblowing Management: Current State of Affairs and Best practices". During the session he will update participants on future legal frameworks for whistleblowing, and provide practical, hands-on advice about what to expect from forthcoming new regulations and how to remain compliant. Jan will provide concrete examples and best practices on what has worked and what has failed, outcomes for organisations involved in whistleblowing and legal issues that need to be considered.

Other sessions at the ACFE conference include CEO Fraud, Cybercrime challenges, Real-time analytics, Ethics and Compliance training and more.

Jan on this speaking engagement:

'It is encouraging to see the ACFE taking an innovative, digital approach to the challenges caused by the current situation in the world. Instead of postponing the conference, the decision was taken to shift it online. My presentation was recorded last week during a one-shot online recording session. As I like to do lively presentations, seeking interaction with the attendees, it was a new experience for me to sit still, facing the laptop instead of a room full of people, while hearing my children playing in the living room. I enjoyed it a lot and I hope that the attendees of the 2020 ACFE Conference will do so too. I want to thank the ACFE for selecting me as a speaker and for its courage to proceed with the conference in this online format.'

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is the world's largest anti-fraud organisation, and it is an honour for WhistleB to be invited to speak at their premier event in Europe. The online ACFE conference will take place on 6th and 7th April. Sessions will be available live and thereafter on-demand. Jan will speak on Tuesday 7th April at 2.50pm CET.
