Pryor Cashman client Muss Development has entered into a 20-year lease with EmblemHealth to renew and expand its existing 28,463 square feet space in Flushing Plaza in Queens, New York, adding an extra 14,519 of square footage.

"Emblem wanted to stay in the building and we were very happy to have been able to accommodate them," said Muss Development Principal Jason Muss, noting that the deal affirms Flushing's growing reputation as an attractive area for businesses. Flushing Plaza is already home to a variety of retail and other tenants, including Spectrum, New York State Department of Labor and HSBC Bank.

Partners Dennis Sughrue and Benjamin Teig, members of Pryor Cashman's Real Estate and Banking + Finance Groups, represented Muss Development in the transaction.

News of the deal was reported in the Commercial Observer.
