On June 5, 2018, Jelena McWilliams was sworn in as the 21st
Chair of the FDIC. Chair McWilliams succeeds Martin J. Gruenberg,
who served as Chairman of the FDIC since November of 2012 and as a
Member of the FDIC Board of Directors since August of 2005.
