Cyber attacks are increasingly common and affect all sectors of
the economy, from retail and financial services, to health care and
education. The types of attackers and their goals are just as
varied as the targets, with criminals, foreign governments and
so-called "hacktivists" attacking companies to steal
money or personal information, engage in corporate espionage and
tarnish reputations.
