Fox Rothschild's Joseph DeMaria was noted as a "Legal Lion" this week for his representation of Farm Stores in its 17-year contract dispute with Zenith Insurance Co. stemming from a workers' compensation policy.
A Florida judge granted a post-trial request which released Farm Stores from a previous jury verdict and found that Zenith failed to prove successor liability in the case. The policy under dispute was originally issued by Riscorp Insurance Co. which was later acquired by Zenith.
