Massachusetts is now allowing non-essential businesses to “bring in a small number of employees to remotely fulfill online or phone orders.”

The remote fulfillment guidelines require the following:

  • Facilities remain closed to the public
  • Employers may only engage in packaging and delivery of phone/on-line orders
  • All employees must wear face masks and maintain 6 feet of social distancing.

All deliveries must be made via “no contact” procedures.  Employers must also require employees to self-administer temperature checks prior to each shift.

The total number of employees allowed on-site depends upon the amount of square feet comprising the work facility.
