Going from strength to strength; Haseltine Lake Kempner gains a new Partner to join their Chemistry and Life Sciences team
Haseltine Lake Kempner (HLK) is pleased to announce that Jo Deas will be joining the firm on the 20th January as a Partner in the firm's Chemistry and Life Sciences team.
Jo, who will be based in HLK's Bristol office, joins the firm having spent the last 12 years at two well respected IP practices in Nottingham. As a UK and European patent attorney, Jo has particular experience in medical devices and formulation chemistry. She is an expert in European patent oppositions and appeals, having attended many hearings over the years with a very high success rate.
Jo has an MChem from the University of St Andrew's in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry. During her degree she spent a year in industrial placement at Reckitt Benckiser, the leading consumer health, hygiene and home company, in the formulation team.
In 2019 she was listed as a Rising Star by IPStars.
