2019.

The law:
- repeals Law No.2/07 of 31 August 2007;
- approves a new regime on the entry, exit, and staying of
foreign citizens in Angola; and
- provides a 10 day renewable extension for short-term
visas.

("PPPs")

Issued and came into force on 14 May 2019.

The law:
- replaces Law No.2/11 of 14 January 2011; and
- introduces several amendments aimed at simplifying the legal

The law seeks to introduce conditions that that will enhance the
participation of the private sector in the Angolan
economy.

Presidential Decree No.180/19 -Value Added Tax
("VAT") Code Regulations
|
Issued on 24 May 2019 and will enter into force on 1 July
2019.

The regulations:
- establish the rules applicable to VAT reimbursement and refund;
and
- create the Code of Accounts relating to the accounting of
operations related to VAT.
