The Federal Law No. 180-FZ dated 23 June 2016 'On Biomedical
Cell Products' is aimed at developing the sector of biomedical
technologies in Russia.
The Law has been developed with a view of the best international
practices and regulates relations in connection with the
development, pre-clinical trials, expertise, state registration,
clinical trials, production, sale, storage, transportation, use,
destruction, import in and export from the Russian Federation of
biomedical cell products for the prevention, diagnosing and
treatment of diseases (states), pregnancy maintenance and medical
rehabilitation of a patient, as well as in connection with the
donation of biological material for the production of biomedical
cell products.
