The ban on foreign nationals entering Russia has been
extended indefinitely.
On 29 April 2020, the Russian Government extended the temporary
restriction of entry into the country for foreign nationals and
stateless persons for an indefinite period. The ban was previously
valid from 18 March until 1 May 2020. Some categories of
individuals (e.g. individuals with diplomatic, official or ordinary
private visas issued in connection with the death of a close
relative, etc.) are exempt from the entry restriction.
