International law firm Gowling WLG is further strengthening its Construction Disputes team with the hire of construction partner Jessica Tresham into its London office.

Jessica will bolster the Construction Disputes team and her appointment forms part of the expansion of the firm's construction practice. Jessica brings a wealth of in-depth knowledge of the construction sector and will elevate the teams standing in the London market.

She is ranked by Chambers & Partners in Band One for construction. Her career has included advising global and tier one contractors across multiple jurisdictions, energy and renewable energy providers, financial institutions, retail, universities and education establishments, government bodies, developers, house builders and social housing providers, engineers, consultants and telecoms providers.

Jessica has advised on numerous and sizeable High Court matters in addition to arbitrations, adjudications and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. During her career, Jessica has advised on highly technical claims concerning large infrastructure projects and is known for her commercial and no-nonsense approach.

Jessica is secretary for the prestigious Society of Construction Law where she has served as a Council member for the last eight years.
