NEW YORK, April 8, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that partner Jason Krochak has been named to Sports Business Journal's ("SBJ") Forty Under 40 Class of 2024. The annual list recognizes exemplary leaders across sports for their outstanding contributions to the industry. This is Jason's third time being named by SBJ as one of the sports industry's elite next generation members. He was first recognized in 2022 at age 34 and, as a three-time honoree, Jason joins the publication's Forty Under 40 Hall of Fame, which consists of some of the most influential executives in sports.

As a partner in Proskauer's Sports group, Jason has played a key role in a number of industry-defining moments in sports, from MLS's signing of Lionel Messi to the record-breaking sale of the Denver Broncos. Having been promoted to partner at age 33, Jason has made an impression on colleagues and clients throughout his career with his drive, legal acumen, passion for the business of sports and commitment to those around him.

Jason's practice focuses on a variety of corporate matters, including acquisitions, joint ventures, league creation and expansion, financings and governance as well as sponsorship, licensing and other commercial transactions. He represents some of the biggest sports properties in the world, including the NBA, MLS, the Big EAST Conference, the ATP Tour and the WTA Tour, as well as several other major and emerging leagues and teams, private equity firms, gaming companies and corporate sponsors. Jason has also developed a market-leading sports betting practice and advised leagues, teams, investors and sportsbooks in sports betting partnerships and other headline matters.

Jason maintains an active pro bono practice and serves on the Advisory Board of Legal Outreach, a non-profit for underserved youth in New York City. He also launched the organization's annual Sports, Business and Law clinic in partnership with Proskauer and serves as a mentor to students at the University of Michigan who are interested in a career in sports.
