Butler Snow attorney Sarah E. Rawls was recently selected to serve as the 2024 Vice President of Membership Development for the Rotaract Club of Birmingham. She previously served as Co-Chair of the Professional Development Program, Co-Chair of the professional development series, and was a part of the Rotaract’s Leadership Development Class from 2022-2023.

Sarah Rawls is a member of Butler Snow’s Commercial Litigation group, representing clients in commercial litigation matters and routinely handles cases pending in federal courts, state courts, and arbitration tribunals. She has experience in business disputes across a variety of forums, including the National Grain and Feed Association’s arbitration forum. Prior to joining the firm, Rawls served as a law clerk for the Honorable R. David Proctor on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

In addition to her work with the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, Sarah is committed to working with Girls, Inc. of Central Alabama and United Way of Central Alabama. Rawls is a member of the American Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.

Rawls earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law.
