The Maples Group is proud that for the fourth year in a row, it has been named one of Montreal's Top Employers. MediaCorp Canada Inc., the publisher of the nationwide Canada's Top 100 Employers series, chose the Maples Group for its longstanding commitment to providing a company culture that fosters personal and career development along with overall workplace excellence.

Reasons why the Maples Group was chosen again for this recognition include a new interactive office space designed for a hybrid work environment, the launch of the Women's Professional Network, its enhanced employee wellness programme, and its broad array of learning and social activities.

The Group launched its Montreal office in October 2009. In the intervening 15 years, the firm has benefited from the city's diversity, educational opportunities, and deep cultural resources. The office employs 358 full-time staff in several job functions including accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, project management, and information technology. The team comprises individuals representing 56 nationalities and speaking 29 languages. In another indicator of diversity, 53 percent of managers in the Montreal office of Maples are women.

This past year the Montreal office unveiled its brand-new, state-of-the-art social and conference space. With a postcard view of Mont Royal and McGill University, the new facility has been the site for multiple key employee engagement events, including the women's networking group. At its first monthly event, the group had some 50 attendees to discuss key issues facing women in the workplace.

"Our expanded office space reflects our commitment to the city of Montreal, our employees and the clients they serve," says Tyler Kim, Global Head of Fund Services, based in Montreal. "We are proud to be recognized once again as a top employer and will continue to strive to be an even better one every year."
