June 2023: Kochhar & Co. has announced that Ms. Kaveri Shrivastava joined the firm as a Senior Partner and Co-Head of its Hyderabad office.

Kaveri obtained her LL.M. from New York University after graduating from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and dual-qualified to practice law in India and the United States.

With almost two decades of experience, Kaveri focuses on corporate and commercial laws advising on acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, cross-border investments, infrastructure projects and high-stake litigation matters. She has represented reputed domestic and multinational clients across several sectors, including aviation, education, infrastructure (roads and bridges), IT & ITes, metals and minerals, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & life sciences, power (conventional and renewable), and retail. In addition to the above, Kaveri has supported clients on high stake matters before various Indian courts and tribunals, including state High Courts, subordinate courts, and the National Company Law Tribunal.

Prior to joining Kochhar & Co., Kaveri worked with Amarchand Mangaldas and Tatva Legal.
