The Attorney General of the Republic, Beatriz Buchili, demands
greater action from magistrates in investigating the sources of
terrorist financing.
According to Bestriz Buchili "Terrorist financing is done
through drug trafficking, money laundering, illegal fishing, and
banking transactions. This measure is supported by Prime Minister
Carlos Agostinho do Rosario, since he considers that terrorism is
"an evil that hinders the development of the country. The
jurist José Machicame understands that specialized courts
can allow faster proceedings, precisely because they have
magistrates and investigators who are dedicated only to terrorist
crimes.
