Information for Security ("DIS") executed an agreement (source document in
Italian) extending the requirement for the DIS to preliminarily

information collection. In his statement, the DPA Chairman noted
that "the agreement has proven to be an efficient instrument
for strengthening data protection of citizens within the context of
intelligence services."
