On 13 September 2013, the European Fund and Management Association ("EFAMA") published its July 2013 factsheet for the investment funds industry (the "Factsheet").

The Factsheet figures represent net fund product sales data and/or net assets data for both UCITS and non-UCITS. The data is provided by 26 national associations.

UCTIS

The developments for July show positive net inflows across all fund categories. UCITS recorded net inflows of €35 billion compared to net outflows for UCITS of €65 billion in June.

Long term UCITS, a category excluding Money Market Funds, had net inflows of €35 billion compared to net outflows of €25billion in June. Significantly, Money Markey Funds had net inflows of €1 billion compared to net outflows of €40 billion in June 2013.

By the end of July 2013 the total net assets for UCITS increased by 1.6% to €6.666 billion.

Non-UCTIS

Non-UCITS recorded net sales of €16 billion compared to €9 billion in June 2013.

By the end of July 2013, the total net assets for non-UCITS increased by 1.3% to €2.675 billion.

At the end of July 2013, the total net assets for the European Investment Funds Industry totalled €9.342 billion.
