There are two broad categories of regulated investment funds in
Ireland, UCITS and AIFs. Each can be established as unit trusts,
corporates, common contractual funds ("CCF"), Irish
Collective Asset-management Vehicles ("ICAV"), and in
addition AIFs can be established as partnerships.
