Khaitan & Co advised L&T Financial Services Limited (the Investor) in relation to the issue of unsecured, guaranteed, listed, rated, non-convertible debentures aggregating to INR 2700,00,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-Seven hundred crores) (Issue), on a private placement basis by Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (the Issuer). The Issue was backed by a corporate guarantee from Tata Power Company Limited (the Guarantor). L&T Finance Holdings Ltd is a NSE and BSE listed company and is also registered with RBI as an NBFC and CIC. It conducts its financial services businesses through various subsidiaries. L&T Financial Services is the brand name of L&T Finance Holdings Ltd. Manisha Shroff (Partner), Oindrila Bhowmik (Senior Associate), Enakshi Jha (Associate) represented the client on the transaction.
