In August, the Privacy Commissioner issued a revised
guide of best practices for implementing a privacy management
program ("PMP"). The Guide is a revised version of the
version published in 2014 and contains more concrete examples,
charts, questionnaire templates, and checklists. The Privacy
Commissioner encourages organizations to develop their own PMP to
incorporate personal data protection into corporate governance
responsibilities throughout the organization, including the
boardroom.
