Following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, we have invoked our global Business Continuity Management (BCM) process and our BCM teams in each of our offices are meeting on a regular basis to implement their detailed BCM plans.

We are monitoring the situation closely and are following the guidance and advice issued by the UK Government and our other jurisdictional authorities.

We have taken a number of additional steps including stopping all but absolutely essential business travel – (business travel to Category 1 countries has been prohibited for several weeks). In addition, we are asking our employees to consider their personal travel plans and they are required to inform their BCM team of their personal travel plans before they go so that we can make appropriate arrangements for their return.

In situations where our employees are travelling, we have provided them with detailed guidance on planning for and returning from their trip (including the circumstances under which they must self-isolate). This planning includes ensuring they are set-up to work remotely, including from home, if required.

We have also provided our employees with detailed guidance as to what to do in the event that they feel unwell at work or at home, including if they have any mild cold, respiratory problems or a dry cough.

We are using our technology platforms to ensure we continue to engage with our clients and suppliers, including audio and video conferencing. Our BCM processes also ensure our employees are set up and able to work remotely and from home with full access to our systems.

We are introducing a phased roll out of A/B working with teams being split between working in the office and from home.

Our priority remains the health and well-being of our employees whilst continuing to deliver the highest level of client service. We are monitoring the situation closely and will adopt additional measures as necessary.
