Complex changes to public procurement law made in response to current economic difficulties enter into force today.

The most important changes include:

  • allowing economic operators to rely on the knowledge and experience of other businesses
  • requiring contracting authorities to return bid bonds to economic operators once it has selected the best bid
  • allowing insignificant changes to be made to agreements concluded under public procurement law
