On September 26, the Bavarian Administrative Court decided that a social media company's
custom audience feature for targeted advertising violated
applicable data protection law in the absence of consent from

Bavarian Data Protection Authority ("BayLDA") prohibiting
a Bavarian online shop from using the custom audience feature
