We also look back at certain legislation that entered into force in 2021. Covid-19 and a caretaker government obviously slowed down legislative progress at the national level. However, many legislative initiatives were taken at the European level, which helps to explain the length of this update. A list of legislative initiatives on which no progress was made in 2021 can be found at the end of this newsletter.
