2020-02-20 – Canada is set to begin accepting applications through the Agri-Food Immigration Pilot in March 2020.

The pilot targeting labour shortages in the meat processing, year-round mushroom and greenhouse crop production and livestock raising industries, was announced in July 2019.

Candidates require Canadian eligible work experience and a job offer from a Canadian employer to qualify for the pilot.

A notice posted on the federal government website says a "complete instruction guide, document checklist and forms will be available [for the pilot] in March 2020".
