On October 5th, 2016, the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) published in the Federal Official Gazette the PROYECT of Mexican Official Norm PROY-NOM-168-SEMARNAT-ASEA-2016, maximum permissible levels of emission from gas turbines, open-cycle or combined cycle, aeroderivatives and its measurement.
This standard will be mandatory for those responsible for existing gas turbines or new ones and systems of two or more gas turbines in a single source with a joint nominal power rating greater than 0.5 MW, using gaseous or liquid fuels industry, trade and services.
