We enjoyed remarkable success at this year's Citywealth Powerwomen Awards, walking away with five awards, including three golds.

Held in London yesterday evening, the awards recognise individuals and companies who maximise the potential of women in wealth.

Ocorian CEO, Farah Ballands scooped two awards – gold in the Woman of the Year, Leadership, Financial Organisation (CEO/Board Member) category, and silver in Woman of the Year, Business Growth (Large/Institutional).

Lisa Mclauchlan, Group Business Development Director, picked up gold in the Woman of the Year, Business Services (Large/Institutional) category.

Michelle Tring, Trust Director, received a bronze award in Woman of the Year, Future Leaders (Partner, Director).

Ocorian as a business also claimed gold in the General - Best Employer, Career Progression category.

Commenting on the success, Farah said: "We wholeheartedly endorse the principles behind the Powerwomen Awards and as a newly merged business will continue to champion women in the workplace. While it was rewarding for my colleagues and I to be recognised by our peers, it was especially thrilling for Ocorian to pick up an award for the work it puts into advancing women's careers."
