RENO (February 5, 2020) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announced Michael Cabrera has joined the firm's Regulatory & Government practice as an associate in the firm's Reno office.

Cabrera has handled matters for developers, economic development organizations and real estate investors during all stages of property acquisition, land planning, zoning and redevelopment projects. He also has experience working with a variety of administrative agencies, conducting extensive analysis and due diligence regarding land use, historic preservation and zoning ordinances.

With interests in regulatory, administrative and political law, Cabrera served on various Nevada political campaigns and governmental agencies including the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada and the Nevada State Assembly. While in law school, Cabrera interned for the Office of the Attorney General (D.C.), the Office of Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid and for the Honorable Gladys Kessler in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He received his J.D., cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno.
