CHAPEL HILL, NC—Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Anna Mills will be among the speakers at a symposium on "The Future of Fintech: Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and the Emerging Financial Ecosystem."

Mills will take part in a panel discussion on regulatory concerns in cryptocurrency and blockchain. She will be joined in the discussion by Duke University Law School Global Financial Markets Center Executive Director Lee Reiners and Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Economist/Researcher Russell Wong.

The FinTech symposium is presented by the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The symposium will include discussions of the future of the FinTech space, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and other emerging technologies, as well as regulatory issues affecting this rapidly evolving market. Around 150 business leaders, academic researchers, and public sector financial regulators are scheduled to attend the Jan. 24 event.

Anna Mills is a veteran corporate attorney who serves as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from large, multi-national companies to privately held middle market businesses.
