Toronto (Canada) – Fasken is featured throughout the 2019 Chambers Canada Guide ("Guide"), which was released today by Chambers and Partners. It ranks 93 of the Firm's lawyers across Canada for their legal expertise, 14 of which received Band 1 recognition.

As part of the Guide launch, an awards ceremony was held last night, where Fasken took home the title of Chambers Canada "Employment Law Firm of the Year for 2018". Fasken's Labour, Employment and Human Rights Group is one of the largest in Canada and has a long history of representing employers in all aspects of labour and employment law, including offering strategic and tactical advice. This award reflects the dedication of many of our lawyers and speaks to our prowess in this space in the Canadian legal community.

The Firm was also highlighted in 36 practice areas and ranked top tier (Band 1) in 10 of them, including: Aboriginal Law (Nationwide), Employment & Labour (Nationwide, BC, ON), Energy: Provincial Regulatory (BC), Litigation: General Commercial (BC), Mining (Nationwide), Real Estate (QC), Startups & Emerging Companies (Nationwide) and Telecoms Media & Broadcasting (Nationwide).

Of the 93 Fasken lawyers recognized in the Guide, six of them were newly included. The 14 lawyers ranked as top tier (Band 1) in their practice areas, include:
