Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Lindette C. Hassan, who has been named to the prestigious National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 list.

The elite list honors accomplished attorneys in the United States who have demonstrated excellence in the legal profession through advocacy training, marketing, networking and education.

Active both within the firm and in the community, Hassan serves as secretary of Fox's Diversity Committee, which spearheads initiatives to promote firmwide diversity and inclusiveness throughout the firm's 22 offices and works to ensure that the firm is cultivating a diverse workplace that continually promotes opportunities for all.

Hassan is the immediate past chair of the Montgomery Bar Association's (MBA) Young Lawyers Section and serves as co-chair of its Intellectual Property and Communications Law Committee. She is involved with the Pennsylvania Bar Association, serving on the Minority Bar Committee and the Women in the Profession Committee and is the former co-chair of Zone 9 of the Young Lawyers Division.

Additionally, Hassan is a former board member of Teens In Perspective, Inc. (T.I.P.), a nonprofit organization providing leadership development to teen girls from low- to mid-income families.

In her intellectual property practice at Fox, Hassan, who is counsel with the firm, handles domestic and foreign patent prosecution involving biological, chemical and pharmaceutical inventions; intellectual property risk assessment for various business models; trademark availability opinions, preparation and prosecution of trademark application preparation, trademark protection and trademark licensing; copyright application, copyright protection, copyright licensing and copyright enforcement; patent licensing; development and coordination of international trademark protection; and intellectual property due diligence for potential acquisitions.
