The majority of matters are able to be resolved without litigation following a short period of negotiation. If this is the case your agreement can be evidenced in a legal document drafted by our experienced team.

Once proceedings are commenced they can still be finalised before a final hearing. In a recent example we settled a matter following a conciliation conference. The matter involved a husband and wife who had a family home, a family business consisting of four companies and a self managed superfund, which owned the business premises. Through extensive negotiation a settlement was reached whereby the property was divided so each party retained an agreed percentage of the property pool. This was achieved without winding up the company.
