On 28 September 2015, a meeting of the Kazakhstan-China Business Council (KCBC) was held in Astana.
On 29 September 2015, Samruk-Kazyna JSC and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade arranged a regular working meeting of the Kazakhstan-China Business Council in Astana in the form of an investment forum.
The event was attended by the Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade - Lu Pengqi, representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC and GRATA International.
During the event, the Kazakh and Chinese companies presented their projects in the petroleum, logistics, telecommunications, energy and real estate areas.
In order to attract potential partners to the implementation of investment projects of the represented two countries, there were bilateral meetings arranged between the business representatives of Kazakhstan and China in B2B format.
The event was also attended by the representatives of Chinese companies in various industries, as well as representatives of large national companies and small and medium businesses of Kazakhstan, such as: Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, 'Hareon Solar Science and Technology Co Ltd', China Machinery Engineering Company (CMEC), etc.
