Sayenko Kharenko's counsel Olexander Droug coached the team of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Institute of International Relations for the 24th Willem C. Vis Moot. This year, the oral rounds of the Moot took place in Vienna from 6 April until 13 April 2017.

The Moot gathered students from the best law schools from around the world. Each team had to prepare written submissions and present oral pleadings at the hearing presenting both claimant and respondent. Under the guidance of Olexander Droug, who has been coaching the team of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Institute of International Relations for the past 9 years, the team has achieved excellent results — was awarded an honourable mention for the memorandum for Claimant.

The Willem C. Vis Moot is an international commercial arbitration moot, which takes place in Vienna, Austria since 1994. The object of the competition is to promote the study of international commercial and arbitration laws for resolution of international business disputes by arbitration.
