Tatyana Slipachuk has joined Ukraine's Central Electoral Commission (CEC). This appointment took effect on 5 October 2018, after Tatyana took the oath as a newly elected CEC member during the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament). In connection with this appointment, Tatyana resigned her partnership at Sayenko Kharenko after seven years with the firm.

For more than 20 years, Tatyana has made a significant personal contribution to the development of such areas of legal practice in Ukraine as international arbitration and international trade. Under Tatyana's leadership, Sayenko Kharenko's international arbitration and international trade practices repeatedly received recognition as market leaders by the most authoritative international and Ukrainian legal directories and awards. Partners Olexander Droug and Anzhela Makhinova will continue to lead the firm's international arbitration and international trade practices respectively.

Tatyana Slipachuk comments: "I devoted a considerable part of my professional life to developing international arbitration in Ukraine and launching international trade practice as a professional advocacy, while continuing scientific activity and expert participation in lawmaking and legal development of state institutions. Despite my constant desire for personal development, new impressions and additional achievements, this new turn in my career was a well-considered and thought through decision. While working at Sayenko Kharenko, I managed to build strong professional teams. I have no doubt that Olexander and Anzhela will continue developing the practices entrusted to them. I am happy to see that mature, motivated and inspired partners of the new generation will lead these practices. I would also like to thank Sayenko Kharenko's partners and every member of my team for supporting me fully in this decision."

Partner Vladimir Sayenko notes: "We are extremely grateful to Tatyana for devoting seven years to the firm. During that period, she was able to create and develop two strong practices while assembling professional teams featuring the best experts in the market. Now Tatyana is starting a completely new chapter in her career. We totally support her decision, which did not come as a surprise and deserves the upmost respect. We wish Tatyana the best of luck in all the challenges she will face at this new stage in her professional life."
