The Abu Dhabi Global Market ("ADGM") has issued new employment regulations (the "New Regulations"), which will come into effect on 1 January 2020 and repeal the existing 2015 employment regulations (the "2015 Regulations"). This follows hot on the heels of the introduction of a new employment law in the DIFC (DIFC Law No. 2 of 2019, the "DIFC Employment Law"), which came into effect on 28 August 2019.
