The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA) information on the buffer rate of other systematically important institution

The PFSA based on the Polish Act of August 5, 2015 on Macroprudential Supervision of the Financial System and Crisis Management in the Financial System and having regard to the opinion of Financial Stability Committee (macroprudential authority in Poland) identified one bank as other systematically important institution. On this basis, the PFSA decided about the scope of application of capital buffers for other systematically important institution.

Furthermore, the PFSA confirmed the identification of 10 Polish banks as systemically important institutions.

Further work on specifying provisions of the Polish Act of August 29, 1997 Banking Law regarding the scope of the MIFID II requirements

The Ministry of Finance has referred the draft Regulation on the structured deposits for public consultation. The draft Regulation specifies the processes related to the structured deposit introduced into the Polish law by MiFID II regulations.
