Australian Economy

The latest national accounts released on December 5, showed that the Australian economy grew by 0.5% in the September quarter, and by 3.1% over the year. Although the annual growth rate is below the 20 year average of 3.5%, it should be noted that around 10 of those 20 years were artificially boosted by debt fuelled growth that was ultimately unsustainable.
